HOME BAKERY DISCLAIMER:
All baked goods and orders are prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to regulation and inspection by the regulatory authority; and may contain allergens.
We can cater to allergen friendly requests, but there is always the chance of cross contamination when working in a shared kitchen with known allergens. Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery does our best to assure this does not happen, but in the rare case that it does, we are not responsible for any cross contimaination that may or may not occur.
Custom cakes are a work of art; therefore, we will not copy the work produced elsewhere due to copyright or trademark laws. We will follow your requests closely to create your desired design, however, you agree that any items ordered will be reproduced as Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery interpretation of the photo or described item(s) and will not be an exact replica.
ORDERING/PAYMENTS:
Order total is due when the order is placed or when there is less than two weeks to your event day and represents your acceptance of all order details. Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery will only treat your order as confirmed once your payment or non-refundable deposit has been received. Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery will only hold your order or event date if the deposit or full amount is received within three (3) days of the invoice date. After this time, your date is not guaranteed and will be available to other customers.

All celebration orders require a non refundable deposit of 50% to secure your spot on my schedule, when placing your order one (1) month or more in advance. The remainder is due two (2) weeks prior to your event day. Short notice orders placed within fourteen (14) days of the collection date are an exception and must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

All wedding orders require a booking fee of 50% to secure your spot on my schedule. The remainder of your total is due one (1) month prior to your event day. Short notice orders placed within one (1) month of the wedding date are an exception and must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Not all short notice orders are accepted, this is determined on a case by case basis, and is dependant on our availability.

Celebration orders - final payment is required two (2) weeks before the collection/event date.

Wedding orders – final payment is required four (4) weeks before collection, event date, or delivery.

DELIVERY FEE:
Order pickups are preferred at our home location in Sagle, Idaho. Address will be given to paying customers prior to order pickup. Meet up locations are the Westmond Gas Station or The Dollar General in Sagle, Idaho. For both meet up locations, a convenience fee of $10 will be added to your invoice. Meet up option must be added on at the time of booking, this cannot be added on at a later date.
For deliveries a delivery fee of $0.60/per mile round trip, with a $10 minimum + $30 per hour of drive time, round trip, for further locations. Delivery must be added on at the time of booking, this cannot be added on at a later date.
Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery is not responsible for any delay or inability to deliver based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, labor troubles, delay of supplies, disputes, strikes, or any other circumstance beyond our control.
In the case of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the order and will refund, at our discretion, minus your non-refundable booking fee and/or deposit.
Non-Payments, Cancellations, Refunds:
Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery will only complete an order if paid for in full. If the invoice is not paid in full before or by the due date, you forfeit your order and any and all deposits paid. At the discretion of Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery, there will be no credit given for Celebration orders cancelled inside of four (4) business days, this is determined by a case by case basis. For cancellations with more than six (6) business days’ notice, credit may be given for a future order (This offer is subject to the date being available), less the fair market value of items that cannot be re-used or for custom items purchased for your order.
Wedding Cancellations within four (4) weeks of the event day, forfeit all and any deposits. Wedding cancellations or date changes prior to four (4) weeks may be entitled to a refund at our discretion, minus the 50% non refundable deposit, and any items that were purchased in preparation for your order/event. We will do our best to accommodate date changes but this is also subject to our availability of the new event date.
Our Five Lakes Farm Home Bakery will not offer refunds or exchanges for custom products that meet our quality standards once a cake has been picked up/delivered and “Accepted” by you or another designated party. Additionally, under no circumstances will we provide a refund, in excess of the cost of the order, if damages occur due to the fault of the baker.
Each box comes with "Cake Care Instructions" it is your duty as the paying customer to read and abide by these instructions to insure the safe handling of your cake and to insure it arrives to your destination intact. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our possession.
In the event a client is a "no show" on the agreed upon pickup day, said order will be wrapped and stored for 24 hrs. If there is no contact from the customer to arrange a new pickup time, after 24 hours you forfeit your order and any and all deposits and final payments and your order will be donated at the bakers discretion.
